Now nearly 4 decades in the solar business. In October 1986, I founded Afrisol SA in Casablanca. At that time, our business was rural electrification, power supply for telecommunication and PV irrigation systems.

In the 90s, we connected the first PV system to the Moroccan public grid. It is amazing how the Moroccan energy policy has developed solar energy until today.

In Germany, we built grid-connected photovoltaic systems in the early 1990s as part of the 1000 Roofs Programme, founded shareholder companies for solar module and battery production and built PV power plants in the megawatt range in Europe.

Today Solar Bionic has an international network of energy experts in the fields of photovoltaics, energy storage, sector coupling, electromobility, and indoor climate engineering.
